High potential and gifted education

At Gralee School, we implement the New South Wales Department of Education's High Potential and Gifted Education Policy

We deliver high-quality learning experiences for all students across various domains. Our focus is on developing each student's potential through tailored lessons and extension activities. We draw on the expertise of our staff and offer a variety of extracurricular programs and cross-school partnerships to provide students with a broad range of opportunities both within and beyond our school.

What is high potential and gifted education?

High potential and gifted education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.

We do this through:

Our high potential and gifted education opportunities

Our students engage with HPGE education in the classroom, in our school, and across NSW.

In our classroom
Lessons that tap into different strengths of each student.
Across our school
Whole school opportunities such as access to performing arts, sport and career pathways.
Across NSW
State level sport, performing arts and other academic pursuits.
