Lion King

This year we chose the Lion King theme. In June the senior students went on an excursion to Sydney to see a Sydney Theatre production of the Lion King. We chose the scene: The Circle of Life. We presented this scene at the Leeton Eisteddfod to the following acclaim- Great costuming and (I) love the face-paint. All the teachers and students working together was such a beautiful thing. You're all very inspiring. Great team work- simply a fantastic job!

The theme for the Leeton Community of Public Schools' bi-annual theatre show this year is Shine on Broadway so our Lion King theme fits neatly into the production. The show is from 27-29th August.

Finally we will present our theme to the comunity at the Leeton Country and Western Round-Up (October)

and our Presentation morning on Thursday, 11th December starting at 10am.
